Job Title: Automation Technology Substitute Instructor

Pay Rate: $28.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
2. Three years’ experience and/or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance and Automation or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Associate degree in related field, from an accredited college or university
2. Teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary institution
3. Experience in career and technical education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Job Title: Cosmetology/Barbering Substitute Instructor

Pay Rate: $28.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
2. Three years’ experience as a Cosmetologist
3. Licensed by DOPL in Cosmetology/Barbering
4. Licensed by DOPL as a Cosmetology/Barbering Instructor
5. Able to perform the bookkeeping at the end of the day and prepare the accounting records and accurately prepare the daily deposit

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary institution
2. Experience in career and technical education

Job Title: Diesel Technology Substitute Instructor

Pay Rate: $28.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

2. Three year’s Heavy-Duty Diesel (HDD) maintenance experience and/or certificate in Heavy Duty Diesel technician

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary institution
2. ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification

Job Title: IT Classroom Aide

Classification: Part-time Faculty

Pay Range: $21.78 – $26.13/hour

Hours: 20 hours/week, /Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, /lunch break from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Focus: Supports the College Mission to serve students, employers, and the College community. Provides leadership and quality job skills training to youth and adults, meeting the needs of Utah employers, in a safe and clean learning environment.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Assist in instructing and supervise students (high school and adult)
2. Assist in the instruction using a competency-based curriculum
3. Maintain a productive and safe learning environment consistent with s¼¶ËØÈË policy
4. Identify and maintain equipment and supplies as required to support continuous instruction
5. Aide students as needed with classroom facilities, technology, and program/classroom performance and behavior expectations, procedures and safety
6. Help with addressing and resolving issues affecting student success, coordinating with Lead Instructor when appropriate.
7. Coordinate with Staff and other instructors to ensure courses meet program, student, and employer needs
8. Provide feedback to program Faculty to develop and implement competency-based curriculum that meets industry standards
9. Assist faculty in maintaining student records verifying and reporting competency certificates, and timely tracking and reporting of attendance, progress and grades
10. Promote job readiness, encourages professionalism and good work habits and assists with helping students find work-based learning opportunities, related employment and/or continued education
11. Assist program Faculty to meet College program and accreditation standards and requirements including completion, placement, licensure, membership hours, headcount, certificates awarded and retention (graduate completers)
12. Support program certification requirements as appropriate to accreditation, department of education, state compliance regulations, and pathway requirements
13. Other duties as assigned

Job Title: Medical Assistant Substitute Instuctor

Pay Rate: $28.50/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
2. Two years’ experience as a Medical Assistant

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Associate degree in related field, from an accredited college or university
2. Current certification as a Medical Assistant or become certified within twelve months of hire, or have five years’ combined industry and/or
teaching experience in Medical Assisting
3. Teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary institution
4. Experience in career and technical education
